Letting the Body Reveal What’s True, Alive, and Aligned

Exercise in Emotional Resonance Mapping

Introduction
You’ve named the values that matter.
You’ve started facing the real blocks.
You’ve begun putting alignment into action.

Now it’s time to check the most honest compass you have:

Your body.

Because the body doesn’t lie.

You might say a value matters—but if living it leaves you tight, contracted, or numb, then something’s off.
You might be performing it… but not resonating with it.

This practice helps you map which values feel alive, which feel forced, and which might be incomplete echoes of someone else’s voice.

It’s the link between your past work and what comes next:

Purpose that isn’t theoretical—but embodied.

🧭 Instructions:

You’ll go one value at a time.

For each:
  • Slow down.
  • Breathe.
  • Tune in.
Once you’ve completed the full reflection for a single value:
Click “Submit” to save your entry.

Then return to the exercise and begin again with the next value.
Repeat this process until you’ve explored your 3 to 5 values that feel like true anchors.

There’s no rush.
You’re not here to think your way through this.

You’re here to feel your way back to what’s real.

🔹 Step 1: Breathe and Name the Value
Say the value aloud slowly. For example: “Freedom.” Or “Integrity.” Or “Presence.”
Then ask:
When I say this word… what do I feel in my body?*
Where does it show up—chest, gut, throat, spine?*
Does it feel expansive or tight? Calm or charged?*
Does it bring ease, anxiety, yearning, confusion?*
Write what comes up. Don’t analyze. Just describe what you feel.
🔹 Step 2: Visual Resonance Check
Using the image of a simple body outline (or your imagination), mark or name:
Where does this value land in your body?*
Where does it feel absent?*
Where does it feel blocked or stuck?*
For Example: You can say:
🔹 Step 3: Aliveness Rating
Give the value a resonance score:*
Then ask:
What would it take to move this value from a 5 to a 7?*
What needs to be released for this value to rise in resonance?*
🔹 Step 4: Alignment-to-Purpose Bridge
Now that you’ve felt into this value—its resonance, its location in your body, its aliveness—pause and ask:
Does this value feel like it wants to become something more in my life?*
Could this value be a foundation for how I serve, create, or show up in the world—not just for myself, but for others?*
You’re not naming your purpose yet. You’re tuning into the possibility that this value may be part of something larger—a thread in the fabric of why you’re here.
Just listen.
Let this value speak to you. Let it whisper a direction. Let it stir.
It’s not just a personal preference.
It might be a clue to your True North.
